OUT TO LUNCH - I've spent the past two days doing the most tedious, unpleasant activity imaginable -- packing up my old apartment. Fortunately, I'm in Chicago now and, as I've mentioned before, maybe the best thing about movie here from Iowa City is the movie selection. The much lauded Igby Goes Down is playing at a theater just around the corner from my temporary apartment downtown. If I can pry myself away from Ed and The West Wing tonight I'll go see it and have a review up Thursday. Secretary, the S&M-in-the-workplace comedy with Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader, is also playing there. Have to check that one out as well. Of course, Red Dragon opens this weekend and the Chicago International Film Festival kicks off Friday night. So I have a lot to cover in the next two days and following week...keep clicking on CinemaScoped.
