APOLOGIES - My first post in almost a week and I have absolutely nothing interesting to say. It's the holidays and I probably won't get back to my normal blog routine until next Monday. Besides, the list of movies I have to see -- "have to" because I am anxious to see them and because my end of the year list needs to be completed -- is enormous. I've listed these movies before, but just for the record one last time (in alphabetical order): 'About Schmidt,' 'Antwone Fisher,' 'Catch Me If You Can,' 'Gangs of New York,' 'Talk To Her, 'The Two Towers,' and 'The Trials of Henry Kissinger'. Apparently Roman Polanski's 'The Pianist' is only playing in NY and LA. I could write about 'Adaptation', which I saw last Saturday, but I'm not sure I know how to articulate my response yet. Let me just say it didn't live up to my expectations. Now I have to decide whether that is my fault or Spike Jonze's. Of course, comments about CS' list of the top 10 films since 1978 are forthcoming. Thanks for your patience.
